Jonathan Clay "J. J." Redick was born June 24, 1984. He attended Cave Spring High School in Roanoke, Virginia where he was a McDonalds All-American.He was also the 2002 McDonald's All-American Most Valuable Player.During his collegiate years, Redick played for Duke University.Redick is known for his free throw and three-point shooting.He set ACC records during his career for most points and most career ACC tournament points. He also set several Duke records, including most points in a single season. Redick is currently the all-time leading scorer for Duke.Redick's jersey was retired by Duke on February 4, 2007.He was selected 11th overall by the Orlando Magic in the 2006 NBA Draft.Reddick played for Orlando until he was recenlty traded to the Milwaukee Bucks in February of 2013.His stay at the Bucs was short lived; in July 2013 he was traded to his current team, the Los Angeles Clippers.Redick averages 15.8 points,2.2 rebounds, and 2 assists a game.
